PCI SSC adds PA-DSS to FAQ

November 14th, 2007 by admin Posted in PCI SSC, Payment Applications, pa-dss

pci.jpgThe PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) has updated their online FAQ to include questions and answers about the newly added PA-DSS.

When will the Payment Application Data Security Standard be available?
The Council has distributed a preliminary version of the PA-DSS for feedback from the PCI SSC Board of Advisors, participating organizations, QSAs and ASVs. A final version of the PA- DSS is expected to be published in the first quarter of 2008.

It also has questions on being a PA-QSA, so keep watching for updates.
